Who is Eligible?

Eligible businesses can get a credit for certain Social Security and Medicare taxes (known as FICA taxes) that are paid on tips employees earn.

What is the Employee Retention Credit?

It’s a cash refund on taxes you already paid. The Employee Retention Credit (ERC), is a retroactive tax credit that rewards businesses for keeping at least 2 employees on payroll through 2020 and 2021. This government funded program was passed through the CARES Act.
